Camp Sloggett is not your typical camp ground. It is a lodge, cottage, camp ground and hostel owned by the YWCA of Kauai in stunning Kokee State Park.
Built as a family retreat in 1925 by the Sloggett family and donated in 1938 to the YWCA, people from all walks of life have been enjoying the beauty and seclusion of Camp Sloggett for over 75 years. It’s unique location—in a tropical evergreen forest at the top of Waimea Canyon—makes it a refreshing departure from the norm. And, with some of the planet’s most beautiful beaches a short drive below, Camp Sloggett offers the best of both worlds.
Founded in 1921, the YWCA of Kauai has weathered time and change with an unwavering commitment and a remarkable tradition of service to the women, children and families of the Garden Island.
Camp Sloggett is an ideal place for everything from an adventurous weekend in the woods, to a memorable family reunion or week-long company incentive retreat. Come to YWCA’s Camp Sloggett for an unforgettable experience that will create memories and bragging rights for a lifetime.
